Save Money by Helping the Environment

Yoel Wazana is not only the president and founder of Micro Solutions Enterprise, but he is also an advocate of the environment.

He is highly involved when it comes to saving our green earth.

Although it is a part of his business to provide excellent award-winning remanufactured toners, Yoel Wazana does quite a bit to support the earth as well.

One of the biggest reasons why Yoel Wazana enjoys protecting the environment—other than for keeping it safe—is because it helps him to save money.

Did you know that keeping the environment in a good condition benefits not just the planet, but your wallet as well?

There are a few different steps you can take to save two of the most important things on earth: your finances—and, well—the earth.

Carpooling is one way you can save money. Americans use nearly 7 gallons of gas per week and spend about $25.75 a week to commute to work. Instead, you can easily ride in with your coworkers to reduce costs. Public transportation is also an option.

Keep an eye on your energy. Any wasted energy can quickly burn a hole in your wallet. If your television is running without you watching it, turn it off. The same can be said about computers. If your laptop is running but you aren’t working on it, save all documents, book any websites you are interested in under your “favorites” tab, and anything else to save memory before turning it off.

Conserve your food and your water. Try to bring in a lunch every day to the office. Going out to eat every day not only wastes money, but it can also result in uneaten leftovers. Always reuse water bottles.
These are just a few ways that going green can help you to save money. Yoel Wazana follows them, and he has seen an improvement in his finances.

A Brief History of Micro Solutions Enterprise

Micro Solutions Enterprise is a company that remanufactures toners and cartridges. It has been a leader in the aftermarket imaging world since 1994.

Founded by entrepreneur Yoel Wazana, Micro Solutions Enterprise has received various awards for its remanufacturing efforts. It is a company that has received recognized for being having a best new product, expert customer service, and incredible toner quality.

Yoel Wazana has been a part of the remanufacturing industry for quite some time. From a young age, he worked in various capacities related to race cars and high-end restoration.
When he took a second job as a delivery driver for a retail manufacturer in 1989, Yoel Wazana fixed a printer which helped him to discover his talent in the world of cartridge repair. This ultimately led to an opportunity in production.

When Yoel Wazana was recruited to join a company with a coworker from his delivery job, he began a career as a production manager, where he supervised a team of factory workers for guaranteed effectiveness.

As a part of being a production manager, Yoel Wazana determined the quantity of certain items, inspected quality, and scheduled regular machinery maintenance.
Eventually, Yoel Wazana oversaw research & development, quality control, production, and sales for his friend’s company.

Three years later, Yoel Wazana left the company to fulfill his own business vision. This is when he formed Micro Solutions Enterprise.

It was originally shaped to be a direct-to-end-user reseller and service provider.

Micro Solutions Enterprise began in Yoel Wazana’s apartment and was essentially a one-man operation.
Yoel Wazana overcame a lot of challenges as a first-time business owner. For two years, Yoel lost more customers than he was able to gain. He had to work a night job just to support his company.

Through a lot of hard work and determination, Yoel Wazana defeated the odds and emerged as a strong president and founder of his own company.

Yoel Wazana’s Take on the CEQA

Micro Solutions Enterprise is a company founded by Yoel Wazana in 1994. It is located in Van Nuys, California. Yoel Wazana created this company based on the idea of recycling toners and cartridges. He takes environmental concerns very seriously, and cares deeply about his state.

In 1970, California passed a bill called the California Environmental Quality Act, often referred to CEQA for short.

The CEQA is a statute that identifies the impacts that environmental actions have and ways to avoid them.
Recently, the CEQA has been a topic of interest for many, because it is up for reform.

The California Environmental Quality Act has been blamed for holding up some important environmental events, such as the Regional Connector light rail.

As a part of the CEQA, any significant project in California must go through an environmental review and an outreach process.

However, it is believed that this process is being abused by unions, activist groups, rival developers and opposing residents in order to receive a few extra dollars.
In California, the CEQA might be a way for some to accumulate financial gain, rather than actually take care of the environment.

This is disadvantageous to certain California projects that are attempting to encourage a better community.
In an effort to improve the California Environmental Quality Act, a reform bill was established. However, Democrats rejected the reform bill, claiming it was too vague.
Luckily, Darrell Steinberg, a Sacramento democrat, along with President Pro Tem of the Senate, made a few changes to the CEQA bill.

Under Steinberg’s proposal, there will be a definite way to determine when a lawsuit is appropriate for certain environmental projects.

Yoel Wazana is looking forward to whatever changes are made to the California Environmental Quality Act, and hopes any new bill that is passed ultimately benefits the state.

Yoel Wazana’s Concerns Regarding California Wildfires

Yoel Wazana is the president and founder of Micro Solutions Enterprise. Started in 1994, he had a unique vision to create a business that remanufactured toners and cartridges.

You could say that this vision is an environmentally-friendly one. Yoel Wazana cares deeply about all issues regarding the environment, such as wildfires that are currently impacting California—especially because Micro Solutions Enterprise is located in Van Nuys, which is in Los Angeles.

Although wildfires do not usually start until late summer, Southern California has been experiencing them already.  Areas such as the Santa Monica Mountains and the Pacific Coast Highway have been affected. In fact, eight miles of land on the Pacific Coast Highway was closed down.

Wildfires can be started by man or nature. Lightning strikes, the heat, campfires, smoking, and other reasons can cause them.

Since Southern California tends to be a dry part of the state, many wildfires occur there. When combined with the wind, some of the worst wildfires can happen.

Recent wildfires in the Ventura County area forced thousands of homes to evacuate. Schools and businesses were also affected and had to evacuate as well.

Californian fire fighters have been doing their best to prevent these wildfires. At one point during the recent outbreak of wildfires, firefighters had to make sure that the naval base at Point Mugu did not catch flames.

In an effort to prevent future wildfires, the U.S. Forest Service plans to provide seven air tankers. These will be bigger and faster planes used to tackle the flames occurring in the West before they happen.

Yoel Wazana is grateful that measures are being taken to prevent the harmful wildfires spreading in Southern California. His state and his company mean a good deal to him; if there are less wildfires in California, then there will be overall safer living and working conditions for the region.

A Few Tips to turn your Business Green

If you are looking for an environmentally-aware leader, you can turn your head to Yoel Wazana. He is an excellent example of someone who cares about our environment. He has demonstrated his concern for our beautiful earth by developing his company. He founded Micro Solutions Enterprise with the idea of reusing and recycling printer toners and cartridges. Now his company is a leader in the imaging world, and it all began with an environmental vision.

Your company might have had a bit of interest in going green as well. Of course, your business might have a different way of operating; maybe you work for a retailer or a heating and air conditioning company.

Wherever you work, there are steps to be a considerably environmentally-friendly place as well.
One of the most basic things you can do is to use recycled paper. Recycled paper is just as efficient as traditional printer paper. It will cut back on company costs as well. Another idea is to reuse one side of your printer paper if it is blank.

If you want to be like Yoel Wazana, using recycled printer toners will also take your company far in going green. In fact, your company can also recycle your old toners by mailing them to their original companies or dropping them off there.

Encouraging green-friendly transportation is something else your company can do. Your employees can carpool if they live close to each other. If you are a boss or manager, you can ask your employees to work from home once a week if they can.

Always conserve energy at the workplace. Turn off any unused appliances, such as laptops and computers.
These are just a few ways to slowly transfer your business into a green company. Yoel Wazana might make it look easy, but your company can do it, too.
