Yoel Wazana Puts Green Initiatives First

Micro Solutions Enterprises founder and president Yoel Wazana has always been dedicated to helping the environment. His company is built on the premise that being eco-friendly can also be an excellent business model. If MSE's years of success are any indication, that premise is true. Wazana prides himself on having many green initiatives that help the environment every day. Through his daily operations at MSE, Wazana has committed to quite a few eco-friendly practices. Some of them are:

-Recycling foam caps to divert from landfills. Foam caps are either converted into carpet padding or they are put through a waste-to-energy system. Between the two, there is 100% landfill diversion.

-The adoption of air chamber bags eliminated the use of 80% of packing materials.

-Throughout the course of creating the remanufactured toner cartridges they're known for, MSE recycled over 2 million toner cartridges over the course of a year.

-Not only did MSE implement an Electronic Waste Recycling Program, but they've recycled about 1.4 million pounds of plastic, paper, aluminum, and more over the course of a year.

By taking on these green initiatives, Yoel Wazana and MSE have offset about 2,112 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent. If you think that sounds like a huge number, wait till you see what that is comparable to. That's the same amount of CO2 as over 235,000 gallons of gas, nearly 5,000 barrels of oil, the equivalent of the electrical use of 263 homes, and 88,000 barbecues. Needless to say, Wazana works daily to help the environment.
